Serving Hermon
Hermon borders Bangor and Levant and has grown from a farm town into a mix of new homes, older farmsteads and a busy commercial stretch along Route 2, with businesses that run trucks, trailers and equipment. Interstate 95 passes through town, so a lot of hauling moves in and out. Like the rest of central Maine, Hermon gets cold, snowy winters, salted roads and a muddy spring, all of which wear on trailer decks, frames, hitches and the steel parts of farm and construction equipment. New construction around town also brings demand for steel railings, brackets and site equipment repairs.

Why Hermon customers need this work
With both growing neighborhoods and working businesses in town, Hermon has steady demand for welding: equipment repair for contractors and haulers, trailer work, and custom fabrication for homeowners. Heavy machines and trailers are hard to bring to a shop, and freeze and thaw seasons crack welds and frames. Repairing on site, or having a nearby welder take in smaller parts, cuts down on hauling and downtime. Contractors working on new house lots and driveways lean hard on buckets, loaders and trailers, and those see the most wear. A nearby welder means a shorter wait between the break and the fix.
